was it a ..little (person) accident..I have had a few of my favourite cups broken like that..3 to be exact :( it's funny how we LOVE a favourite cup and all others cannot measure up next to it.hope your day gets better ♥
Just an idea.... this wont help with your cups of tea, but once the pain of the broken cup has subsided, it might be a fun way to remember it!http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome
It was MUM who broke it!!! She's getting a bit shaky in her old age!! (she'll kill me for saying that) Oooh...and Nikki I love the spoonflower idea!
or you could get on etsy and treat yourself to a new one! I am sure you will like one you find on there!
RIP pretty cup.....so sad :( Hope a new cup comes along some time to make you smile. Amazing how something as simple as a coffee cup can make such a big difference to our day. I think there's a scrapbook layout in this topic.......hmmm......I'll let you know if I create it! Anita.x
I break things all the time... that is why I make mosaics on terracotta pot plants!
Great that you thought ahead enough to have a photo of it. I love the red teapot in the background too. Such a cute idea to use the pattern for some fabric. ps My verification word was pantgur - that's you! Pantsgirl!
Awwww. Did you have a little ceremony in its honour?!
why is it always those beautiful things that break? I'm totally feeling with you!xoxo andrea
I'm sorry for your loss, it's hard t find the perfect cup. I hope another one comes your way soon.xx
I can SO relate to this! I actually cried my eyes out when my very favorite cup broke in a million pieces! I got it as a gift from a friend and since she lives far away, it always felt we were together in the morning while drinking my coffee. Is it silly to say that I kept all the pieces to glue it back together one day?
Use it in a mosaic! I am never sorry if a favourite cup/plate breaks now!
