I just never can find the beautiful old stuff!!
Can't imagine that it would offend. I am so jealous of your wonderful finds! So fun to go treasure hunting.
oh so very magical. very very magical.
I love finding old stuff at little shops and yard sales.
i agree, i agree, i agree!!!!!!My kids hardly have any new store bought clothes.went to my favourite ol' lady oppie & found some fowlers jars the other day...hellooooo, fowlers & ofcourse a cake stand..bone china darling :)that makes me smile & I love your treasures!!p.s people who would get offended would not be true blogland folk.
Old is the new new! Beautiful op-shop finds Leonie. :)
I love vintage housewares too but aren't you selling new pants, Leonie? Some things just need to be new.
I'm never offended by some thriftiness :)
OH MY GOD! What a haul Leonie! Loving those blue jugs!
@ thea, I totally agree with you...yes some things need to be new, I love new things, fresh ideas, new ways of doing things, "new Pants" and of course new FABRICS!! I just think there can be a balance of both. Sometimes I think we have been a little swallowed up with all the new and the old is getting thrown away when it is just beautiful. I would like to think in my house there is room for both.
The crockery is beautiful - it would just go perfectly with the cup, saucer and sandwich plate I found this week!!! Just realised that I haven't blogged about any thrifting - it's become such a huge part of our life that it's normal and things just get encompassed into our every day before I have a chance of pics! The linens look beautiful aswell. xx
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!Sheesh. Great finds Mrs!
Lovely finds Leonie, those butterflies are so pretty. Imagine those jugs filled with some of your beautiful roses, on a table laid with that butterfly cloth. Stunning! xx
ooooh - those jugs are magnificent!!!! and i so agree, there is just so much great stuff to be found at op-shops, sometimes i wonder why i ever buy anything new!
Wowee! You lucky sausage! But perhaps luck has nothing to do with it, and it's more like you just have an eye for finding treasure. : )
Perfect. I say it every year that I am going to buy op shop Chrissie presents. I just can't part with the goodness. I never can. It's selfish I know.
Those are so beautiful, you lucky thing!
