My Creative Space

My space today is all about the "get your bum into gear and make some winter skirts for Asha" voice flying around in my head!!!

The set pre-requisite are : Sturdy, comfortable, dirt friendly and "throw in the load with everything else" washable!! Fancy I know!!!

Australian readers-Pinwale printed cord was purchased from lincraft.

For more creative spaces fun, grab a cup-pa and pop over to Kootoyoo.

I do love a printed corduroy very much so...looks great Leonie and I love Ashas gumboots.

Mrs. You have EVERYTHING covered. I hereby challenge Asha to make either of those skirts look successfully dirty. Damned fine dirt camouflage potential, if you ask me.

Great skirts Leonie! They definitely tick all the boxes. I'm a bit obsessed with sewing with pinwale cord at the moment. I'm using up bits and pieces of someone else's stash so I had no idea how or where to replenish my stocks. Now I do. THANKS!

The skirts look great. My little one is still trundling around in summer ones with leggings underneath (or jeans if she gets her way). I may have to follow your lead and make her a few wintery ones.

I'm hearing you... I need to get into gear and start production on some winter gear for my rapidly growing children. The girl is seriously short on clothes.
Loving the skirts that you've made. Super sweet. Asha is so adorable - good to see her playing with Roxy after what must have been a confusing and traumatic time.

Ha ha! These skirts are great! I actually just bought that first print for a skirt for myself! I'm hoping to make it tonight and wear it to the gallery tomorrow.

Ok - you've inspired me!! Could a beginner manage one of these skirts? What do I need to do?!!

That's it I'm on the hunt tomorrow. Love a bit of pinwale and those prints are lovely. Thanks for the heads up!
