Knackered!!

When one is employed by ones husband as a brick house wash downer and brick load-er-up-er-a, one is expected to return to the home and prepare the finest of meals!!!

If you ask me, I think the guy who invented fish fingers deserves a Nobel Prize!!

Well, you did one better than me.
If I am that buggered the oven doesn't even get a look in. Luckily the fish ‘n’ chip shop is just across the road (literally)

We had Safeway heat-and-serve curry.... complete with heat-and-serve roti. That's gourmet at our house, lately!

You cooked that much! I'm afraid the local restaurant would have got some business if it were me.

Ah! Fish fingers! In the US we call them fish sticks, but they are my "go to" meal when I can't face cooking. I always keep them in my freezer. I remember eating them alot when I was a kid. You'd think I'd be sick of them by now, but I love them!!

My dad is a hopeless cook - the can't boil water type. But he cooks a bloody good egg. I remember when mum was in hospital when my brother was born, my sister and I lived off eggs and fish fingers for a week. Expect the first night; he curdled the tin of tomato soup and took us to KFC - we could not believe our good luck and hoped mum would never come home!! And even now, dad will offer to cook dinner for mum and he'll whip us eggs and fish fingers. I always keep a box of "fishies" in the freezer.
