Back to the beginning....

When Dave and I met 14 years ago we had a few dreams. The house, the kids, you know..........a whole life ahead of us that was going to be smooth sailing.

Well......life isn't really like that. There has been many up and downs, we nearly separated once, I had a little alcohol problem that needed to be sorted out, we gave birth to a severely disabled child, then decided to go again and was given another ripper kid........be it a little wild one.

Now.......life is good to. We have sorted our shit out, the alcohol problem is no more, Finny has responded overwhelmingly well to all his therapies and Asha is settling into a fairly normal childhood. So....it's time to enjoy.

Once the thought of taking Finny camping with nappies, walkers, strollers, all sorts of machinery that was required for him, was impossible. BUT NOW...he is so good...we can GO!!! We can allow ourselves to re-enter the great outdoors that we love so much and enjoy this amazing country that we live in.

So without further ado after a 10 year wait and a 12 hour drive, we picked her up...our new (second hand) Jayco Swan Camper!!! Whaooooooooooo!!!
