My Creative Space

This weeks it's all about gifts. Gifts for a fella's 40th, one that knows his way around a sewing machine and is currently living in a shed. What else could he want other than.....

A super sized pin cushion specifically designed for larger mans hands.....

And.....ta da....a delicious cosy hot water bottle cover (bottle included).

Pin Cushion tut can be found over in my sidebar.

Hotty was inspired by a vision of delight last winter, over at the house of Myrtle & Eunice. (I think...I can't really remember but I'm sure it was over at Tania's.)

For more creative spaces fun, grab a cup-pa and pop over to Kirsty @ Kootoyoo.

Oh, I'd love to see a big ole boofy bloke sewing in a shed, with your gorgie pincushion at his side. Too sweet! A great image : )

awesome!! That is the best pincushion ever! I am inspired to make one for myself as a statement pincushion! Wherever did you find a bloke who can use a sewing machine? A rare find it seems... unless he's a design/textile student? ;) An inspired gift!

How weird! I crocheted a biggie just like this recently (http://rattlingon.typepad.com/rattling_on/2011/03/fo-friday-1.html). The week before that I made an enormous one (by mistake...)
Love yours, and the bottle, it's odd to think you're heading into winter. For once the sun is shining here!
