New skills

I've grunted, rang a friend, pulled it out, got twisted, put marker on wrong side, created holes, started again, now it's to small for hottie, will think again, may convert into a head band for a chihuahua!

"Just go round and round and round" they say..."Oh it's easy" they say......NO IT'S NOT!! It's like having 20 chop sticks and 5 thumbs. NOT EASY....FRUSTRATING!!

BUT.....I will learn to love it. Like always the first time is the worst. xx

Add another needle. It helps a lot when first learning to knit in the round on DPN. Those first few stitches on a needle when using 3 needles can be a bear to work. Circular needles are also a good suggestion. I like the color combos too!

Well done!! I have just taught myself to knit on 3 needles as well - a children's knitting book from the library plus some tutorials on YouTube certainly helped. I thought that I was so clever until I read an article on s Scottish lady who learnt to knit this way at the age of 4!!
I think I might try the circular needles next.
BTW Love your blog.

DPN's are the BEST!! How else can you knit mittens, or baby clothes or teeny, tiny socks for dolls?? Seriously, the first time is trying - it gets easier and easier!

I hate knitting like this and will avoid it al ALL costs. It is sooo slow compared to 2 needles. (I knit with one tucked under my arm- super fast)
Are you a leftie by any chance? I think that makes it harder for some reason.
