Elfs.

I was going to write about the oppy god's today, the ones that I worship when a little knitted beanie lands in my hands but todays going to be different.....

It's time I spoke about the precious elf IN the beanie.

We (the 2 of us) were in a car accident on Thursday night. We are ok, the car is a little beaten up, we have some whip lash, we are sore but all in one peice. It's given me a fright. That slap in the face realization that in an instant life could be changed permanently or even over.

I know sometimes I get really tired of being a parent, some days they wear me down to a crumpled thread bare mess BUT bloody hell, I wouldn't give up my kids for anything.

See you in a few days, I'm going to take a little time off. Leonie xx

Oh Leonie, I'm so glad you and your little one are safe. These things sure do take the stuffing out of us. Have a good break and rest and keep your family close.
Take care and love to you and your family,
Anne xx

Today I was driving on the inside lane of a busy busy road and sandwiched between the car on my left and the oncoming semi trailer bearing down on me a good half metre into my lane. I get it. Boy do I get it. So, so pleased we're ALL safe. Breathe in some recovery, lovely.

Yes time off and recover, regroup and renew. Glad you came out ok - maybe a little more knowing by the sounds of it. So glad we are hearing it from you and not some other sad way xxxxxx

Oh god, so glad you're all ok! Take time to breathe it all in, the precious joys that surround you. How easily we get bogged down with the hard stuff day to day and forget just how much we love & adore what we have..x

I am so glad that you guys are OK.
It only takes one thing to make you reassess how precious our lives and our families are. Take care. x

So glad you were not seriously injured, our lives go by in the blink of an eye and we do take so much for granted until we get a wake up call. Stay safe and cuddle your little ones...PJ days together to recover the equilibrium are a must. Hugs to you xx PS Cute little hat :-)

I am glad that you are both OK. Me and my boy were in an accident a couple of months ago - and he really was amazing.
Take some time to recover and care for each other.
Love and hugs.

I am so glad you're all ok. My mother in law and sister in law died in a car accident..years ago now..but it did change all of our lives in an instant. Keep safe!

holy shitcakes, glad you are ok. Go see a chiropractor to deal with that whip lash (hopefully that third party insurance thing will pay for it) or the course of your spine will be forever changed. I sound so bossy, what I mean to say is, I've found the chiro to be very helpful and it's the best advise I've got.

A few years ago I was hit by a car (on the pavement) and it was an awful experience, just that one instant. So glad you are all in one piece.
I also work with troubled teenagers so I know how kids can get to you!! (My own seem tame in comparison)...oh, and love that hat!!
