11 Years - Stay @ Home Mum

I got a job.
Just a casual one.
A couple of days per week.
I'm re-activating my brain.

I often think about going back but then decide no I am waiting when the youngest starts school... I am lucky I can.

I think work is over rated....it is a pity it is necessary...except for the lucky ones who have already retired...Ahhh! I think I will have another cuppa and go and do a little gardening. :-)

Good on you!
I clocked 10 years last month and am trying to remember where I left my brain. I hope it's still there...

I've been home for the past two weeks, on leave, and would like to say I've never had any time as the stay-at-home mum but would quite like to start now. Do you think it matters that the last one is 17 and in his last year's at school? Too late?

Oh, and best of luck in the new job.

Pfft. Having met you in person, like - and knowing you a bit online, I'll give you a week to connipt over the learning curve. After that I reckon you'll have it (mostly*) NAILED.

* that's cos working Mums always have to deal with curve balls.

I know how you feel - I started working a year ago after having 8 years off and boy was it exhausting - but you get into the swing and it's all good after that :)
have fun :)
